NASDO to Participate in the Africa Mental Health Leadership Programme in Nairobi

NASDO is pleased to join the Africa Mental Health Leadership Programme (MHLP) Civil Society and People with Lived Experience Capacity-Building Workshop, taking place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 24–28 August 2026.

NASDO will be represented by its Executive Director, Abdirahman Mohamed Hassan, joining civil society representatives and people with lived experience from across Africa for five days of learning, dialogue and exchange.

The workshop provides an important platform to strengthen civil society leadership, promote meaningful participation of people with lived experience, and build stronger partnerships for more inclusive and responsive mental health systems across the continent.

We appreciate Africa CDC, CBM Global and MHIN for bringing partners together around this important agenda and look forward to contributing NASDO’s experience and perspectives from Somalia.
