NASDO welcomes the launch of the Somalia Pandemic Fund Project 2026
NASDO welcomes and commends the official launch of the Somalia Pandemic Fund Project 2026, inaugurated in Mogadishu by the Federal Minister of Health and Human Services, H.E. Dr. Ali Haji Adam.
The launch brought together government officials, national stakeholders, and representatives of international organizations and development partners, including UNICEF, FAO, the World Bank Group, and The Pandemic Fund.
NASDO was honored to be among the organizations invited to attend the official launch, reflecting the importance of inclusive engagement with national and local organizations in strengthening Somalia’s health system.
The project represents an important step toward strengthening Somalia’s capacity for pandemic prevention, preparedness, detection, and response, contributing to a stronger and more resilient national health system.
NASDO applauds the leadership of the Federal Ministry of Health and Human Services and the continued support of international partners working to strengthen health security and protect vulnerable communities across Somalia.
