Program
Community outreach on GBV alongside health, nutrition, and education — so dignity and safety travel with clinic work.
NASDO teams have taken awareness on health, nutrition, education, and gender-based violence into communities in Mogadishu, Jowhar District, and neighbouring villages. The aim is not a one-off speech: field leads stay long enough to build relationships and leave people with a clearer stance against GBV.
This sits next to FGM awareness and PSEA training. Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse is an internal duty for staff and partners; GBV awareness is the public-facing work with families and local leaders.
Orphanage visits in Mogadishu are part of the same child-protection thread — presence, small support, and conversation with carers about how the organisation can help.
