Today, 13 October 2026, NASDO was honored to attend the 3rd Somalia Disaster Resilience Conference (SDRC 2026), held at Jazeera Palace Hotel in Mogadishu under the theme “From Recurrent Shocks to Sustainable Resilience in Somalia.”
We extend our sincere appreciation to the SODMA Somalia and Mogadishu University جامعة مقديشو for bringing together distinguished national leaders, senior government officials, humanitarian partners, researchers, and development professionals in a shared commitment to Somalia’s resilience and sustainable future.
Agenda:
Predicting and Anticipating Recurrent Shocks.
Climate Adaptation, Livelihoods and Community Resilience.
The gathering reflected a powerful message: resilience is built not only through our response to adversity, but through the wisdom of preparedness, the strength of cooperation, and the determination to protect our communities before challenges arise.
NASDO is proud to stand alongside institutions and dedicated individuals working toward a safer, more prepared, and more resilient Somalia.
Together, through knowledge, unity, and collective action, we build a future where communities do more than endure. They thrive.
