NASDO participated in the 2026 Post Gu IPC Analysis Briefing for All Stakeholders, held on 23 September 2026.
The briefing provided critical insights into Somalia’s evolving food security, nutrition, rainfall and livelihood outlook, highlighting the continued pressures facing vulnerable communities across the country. The latest IPC analysis shows that humanitarian needs remain severe and could worsen in the coming months.
For NASDO, these discussions are ultimately about people — families whose lives and livelihoods depend on timely, informed and coordinated action.
We appreciate fsnau, FAOinsomalia, @WFPSomalia, IPC, REACH Initiative, FEWS NET and all participating government and humanitarian partners for strengthening evidence-based humanitarian planning in Somalia.
