Life-saving RUTF for a child in Moyko Village
NASDO nurses are delivering crucial nutrition support directly to vulnerable families in Jowhar District. With backing from UNICEF and USAID, home-based treatments like therapeutic food are helping severely malnourished children recover safely in their own communities.
A child in Jowhar District, Moyko Village, received ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF) from a NASDO nurse — a core treatment for severe acute malnutrition that can be given at home under clinic follow-up.
The visit is part of NASDO’s nutrition work in Moyko, supported by UNICEF Somalia and USAID Somalia.
