On 12 February 2026, NASDO, represented by Mr. Abdulkadir Osman, Operations Director, participated in Session 3 of the global webinar series “Frontiers in the Management of Child Wasting” convened by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) with support from the Eleanor Crook Foundation.
The session focused on preventing wasting relapse and strengthening post-discharge follow-up systems after CMAM treatment. Discussions emphasized standardized relapse indicators, improved monitoring, and integrated, multi-sectoral approaches—including Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA)—to ensure sustainable recovery outcomes.
NASDO reaffirmed its commitment to evidence-based nutrition programming and continued engagement in global knowledge-sharing initiatives.
