Mogadishu, July 31, 2024: The Directorate of Health held its monthly coordination meeting on nutrition issues today. The meeting was jointly opened by Dr. Aweys Ahmed, Director of Planning and Policy, and Dr. Naciima Hussein, Head of Nutrition and Feeding. They expressed gratitude to the participating organizations for their excellent work in supporting various centers.
During the meeting, reports were presented by organizations working on nutrition and feeding in the Banadir region, highlighting their achievements. The participants agreed on the importance of accelerating nutritional services and increasing community awareness to achieve the goals of the Big Catch-up vaccination campaign taking place across all districts in Banadir.
